Cam is an Australian author who has been heavily influenced by fellow Australian authors, Matthew Reilly, Candice Fox, and Chris Hammer, as well as other thriller authors such as James Patterson, David Baldacci, and Clive Cussler.

In whatever spare time he has outside his full-time job as an Avionics Engineer for Virgin Australia, he enjoys reading and writing novels, brewing his own beer, watching Formula One and MotoGP, and is a lifelong supporter of Manchester United Football Club.

Cam currently lives in the western suburbs of Brisbane, Australia with his wife Sarah, his two daughters, Georgia and Olivia, and his two step-sons, Ryan and Luke. He also shares the house with Queenie the Great Dane, Roxy a Rhodesian Ridgeback, and a cantankerous Eclectus Parrot named Rosie.
